Uses

Dactinomycine is primarily used for:

1. Cancer Treatment:

   • Rhabdomyosarcoma (a soft tissue cancer in children and adults).
   • Testicular cancer (especially in combination with other drugs).
   • Wilms tumor (a type of kidney cancer most commonly found in children).
   • Ewing's sarcoma (a bone and soft tissue cancer).
   • Gestational trophoblastic disease (including choriocarcinoma).
   • Melanoma, ovarian cancer, and other malignancies.

2. Treatment of Certain Tumors: It may be used as part of a combination chemotherapy regimen to treat other tumors that are resistant to other therapies.
