Duac Once Daily Gel is a prescription combination topical acne treatment. Each 1g of gel contains two active ingredients: Clindamycin (1% w/w, as clindamycin phosphate, equivalent to 10mg/g) and Anhydrous Benzoyl Peroxide (3% w/w or 5% w/w equivalent to 30mg/g or 50mg/g).

Benzoyl Peroxide (Antibacterial & Unclogging Agent): Kills acne bacteria through oxidation, reduces excess skin oiliness, and helps unblock clogged pores and hair follicles.
Prevents Bacterial Resistance: Benzoyl peroxide prevents acne bacteria from developing resistance to clindamycin, making the combination significantly more effective than using either ingredient alone.

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap after applying.
Avoid letting the gel touch your clothes, pillowcases, towels, or hair.

Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning beds, and sunlamps while using this gel.
Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily during the day.
For External Skin Use Only: Apply strictly to clean, dry skin. Do NOT apply to sensitive areas like eyes, lips, inside nostrils, or broken/sunburned skin.
Skin Irritation Expectations: Mild skin peeling, redness, dryness, and a mild burning or stinging sensation are common, especially during the first 1 to 2 weeks of treatment. If severe peeling or painful redness occurs, reduce application to every other day or stop temporary and consult your doctor.
Do NOT Combine With Other Harsh Topical Treatments: Avoid using harsh abrasive cleansers, alcohol-based toners, or other drying acne products simultaneously, as this can severely irritate the skin.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your physician or dermatologist before using Duac Gel if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Cleanse: Wash the affected skin area gently with a mild, non-soap cleanser and warm water.
Dry: Pat the skin completely dry with a soft, clean towel (wait 15 to 20 minutes after washing to ensure skin is dry).
Apply: Squeeze a small fingertip amount of gel and smooth a thin layer over the entire area affected by acne (not just individual pimples).
Frequency: Apply once daily, preferably in the evening at bedtime.
Clean Hands: Wash your hands with soap immediately after application to prevent accidental bleaching.
Duac Gel is well-tolerated, but common local skin reactions at the application site can include:
Mild skin dryness, peeling, and flaking.
Mild redness, itching, or burning/stinging sensation.
Slight skin irritation during the initial weeks.
How long should I use Duac Once Daily Gel?
Do not use Duac Gel continuously for more than 12 weeks at a time without consulting your dermatologist or doctor, as long-term antibiotic use requires medical monitoring. Most patients start seeing visible skin improvements within 2 to 5 weeks.
How should I store Duac Gel after purchasing?
