Day 2: Take 4 tablets in the morning and 4 tablets in the evening (12 hours apart).
Day 3: Take 4 tablets in the morning and 4 tablets in the evening (12 hours apart).
Note: You must finish all 24 tablets to ensure the malaria is completely cured.
Take with Food: Lonart must be taken with a meal containing fat (such as milk, eggs, or a meal with oil/butter). Fat significantly improves the absorption of Lumefantrine, making the drug much more effective.
Swallow Whole: Take the tablets with water.
Vomiting: If you vomit within 1 hour of taking a dose, you should repeat the dose. Contact our pharmacist if you need a replacement for the vomited dose.
Not a Preventive: Lonart is for treating an existing malaria infection; it should not be taken as a "prophylaxis" (preventive).
