Piccan Ibuprofen Oral Suspension is an over-the-counter pediatric anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and fever-reducing liquid medication. It contains the active ingredient Ibuprofen (100mg per 5ml), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
It is specially formulated for infants and children to deliver fast, effective relief from fever, teething pain, toothaches, sore throats, earaches, post-immunization pyrexia, and minor aches or sprains.
Piccan Ibuprofen works directly at the site of inflammation and pain:
Reduces Fever Fast: Lowers elevated body temperatures for up to 8 hours, helping sick children rest comfortably.
Relieves Pain & Swelling: Blocks COX enzymes that produce prostaglandins—the natural body chemicals responsible for pain, fever, and tissue inflammation.
🚨 Avoid Combination Use: Do not give Piccan Ibuprofen alongside other ibuprofen-containing products or other NSAIDs (such as aspirin or naproxen).
🚨 Infant Caution: Do not give to infants under 3 months of age or weighing less than 5kg, unless specifically directed by a pediatrician.
🚨 Medical Alert: Consult a doctor before giving ibuprofen if your child has a history of asthma, stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, or kidney conditions.
