Bronchostop Cough Syrup is an over-the-counter traditional herbal cough medicine. Manufactured by Omega Pharma, each 120ml bottle contains two natural active ingredients per 15ml dose: Thyme Herb Extract (120mg) and Marshmallow Root Extract (830mg).

Unlike many cough syrups that treat only a dry cough or only a chesty cough, Bronchostop uses a dual herbal approach to tackle both types:
Marshmallow Root (Soothes Dry Tickles): Acts as a demulcent, coating the back of your throat with a protective, soothing layer. This calms scratchy irritation and reduces the urge to cough continuously.
Thyme Herb (Clears Chesty Mucus): Acts as an expectorant to help loosen and thin down sticky phlegm, making it much easier for your body to cough up and clear out your chest.
Non-Drowsy Formula: Provides effective throat soothing without causing daytime sleepiness or groggy feelings.

Age Limit: Suitable for adults and teenagers aged 12 years and older. Do NOT give to children under 12 years of age.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Do NOT use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Persistent Coughs: If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days, stop taking the syrup and consult a doctor.
Dose: Take 15ml using the measuring cup provided in the box.
Frequency: Take 15ml every 4 hours, up to 4 times a day.
Maximum Daily Limit: If needed, you can take up to a maximum of 6 doses (90ml total) in a 24-hour period.
How to Take: You can swallow the syrup directly, or if you prefer, dilute your 15ml dose in a small cup of warm water or tea.
Bronchostop Cough Syrup is herbal and generally very well-tolerated, but minor side effects can occasionally happen:
Mild stomach upset or nausea.
Allergic reactions (such as skin itching or a mild rash) in rare cases.
How soon after opening should I finish the bottle?

No. It is a non-drowsy herbal formula and does not contain sedating ingredients, so it will not cause sleepiness.
