This product is primarily indicated for burn care and wound management. It is used for:
Partial and Full-Thickness Burns: Preventing "burn sepsis" (severe infection) in second and third-degree burns.

Application: The cream should be applied to a thickness of approximately 1.5mm (1/16 inch).

Pregnancy: Should not be used near the end of pregnancy (term) or on premature or newborn infants (under 2 months), as it can interfere with bilirubin levels.
Skin Discoloration: Some patients may notice a temporary graying of the skin or the cream itself when exposed to light; this is a normal reaction of the silver ions.
