Aeroline is a fast-acting rescue inhaler (often called a "reliever") used to provide immediate relief from breathing difficulties. It contains Salbutamol, which belongs to a group of medicines called short-acting beta-2 agonists (bronchodilators). It works by relaxing the muscles in the walls of the small airways in the lungs, allowing them to open up and making it easier to breathe.
This product is primarily indicated for acute bronchospasm. It is used for:
Asthma Relief: Quick treatment for sudden attacks of wheezing, coughing, and chest tightness.
COPD: Managing breathlessness in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Salbutamol (as Sulfate) 100mcg: A rapid bronchodilator that typically starts working within 5 minutes, with effects lasting between 4 to 6 hours.
For Acute Relief: Usually 1 to 2 puffs as needed.
To Prevent Exercise-Induced Asthma: Take 2 puffs approximately 15 to 30 minutes before starting physical activity.
Maximum Dose: Generally not to exceed 8 puffs in 24 hours. If you find you need your inhaler more than three times a week to treat symptoms, consult our pharmacist about a "preventer" inhaler.
Prepare: Remove the cap and shake the inhaler vigorously.
Exhale: Breathe out as much as is comfortable, away from the inhaler.
Position: Place the mouthpiece in your mouth between your teeth and close your lips around it.
Inhale: Start to breathe in slowly and deeply. Just after starting to breathe in, press the canister down once to release a puff.
Hold: Remove the inhaler and hold your breath for 10 seconds (or as long as comfortable) to allow the medicine to reach deep into the lungs.
Wait: If you need a second puff, wait about 1 minute before repeating the steps.
Rescue Only: Aeroline is for relief of symptoms. It does not "cure" asthma or replace daily preventer (steroid) inhalers.
Overuse: Using your rescue inhaler too frequently can be a sign that your asthma is not well-controlled.
Heart Conditions: Inform our pharmacist if you have a history of high blood pressure, heart disease, or an overactive thyroid, as Salbutamol can occasionally increase heart rate.
Cleanliness: Clean the plastic actuator once a week by removing the canister and rinsing the plastic case in warm water to prevent blockages.
