Preparation: Wash your hands and the anal area thoroughly and pat dry.
Unwrap: Remove the suppository from its plastic or foil wrapping.
Positioning: Stand with one leg raised on a chair, or lie on your side with your top leg bent toward your chest.
Insertion: Gently push the suppository (pointed end first) as far as possible into the rectum using your finger.
Recovery: Remain still for a few minutes to allow the suppository to melt. Wash your hands immediately after use.
Tip: If the suppository feels soft, you can place it (still in the wrapper) in the refrigerator or under cold running water for a few minutes before unwrapping to make insertion easier.
Rectal Bleeding: If you notice blood in your stool or significant bleeding from the rectum, stop use and seek medical advice.
Allergies: Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, particularly Balsam Peru.
Pregnancy/Nursing: Consult our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place ($<25°C$). If they get too warm, they will melt in the packaging.
Indicated For: Adults and children over the age of 12. For children under 12, use only under strict medical supervision.
