Take the missed dose as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do NOT double up on tablets to compensate for a missed dose.
Somnolence (drowsiness) and fatigue/lethargy.
Nasopharyngitis (nasal congestion / sore throat).
Dizziness or headaches.
Coordination difficulties (ataxia).
Loss of appetite or mild nausea.
Severe behavioral changes, aggression, extreme agitation, or depression.
Suicidal thoughts or self-harm ideation.
Severe skin reactions, unexpected bruising, or signs of infection (fever, sore throat).
Is Keppra habit-forming or controlled?
No. Keppra (Levetiracetam) is an antiepileptic drug with no potential for physical dependence or abuse. However, it must never be stopped abruptly due to the risk of rebound seizures.
