Targeted Pain & Fever Action: Paracetamol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, blocking pain signals and regulating body temperature during a fever.
Gentle on the Stomach: Unlike non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen or aspirin, Panadol Advance does not irritate the stomach lining.
Paracetamol Overdose Risk: Never exceed the maximum recommended daily limit (8 tablets / 4000mg in 24 hours). Overdosing on paracetamol can cause severe, life-threatening liver damage.
Avoid Combination Use: Do not take alongside any other medications containing paracetamol (including cold, flu, sinus, or cough remedies).
Recommended Dosage for Adults and Adolescents (Aged 12 Years & Older):
Take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
Maximum dose: 8 tablets (4000mg) in any 24-hour period.
Recommended Dosage for Children (Aged 6 to 11 Years):
Give 1/2 to 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
Maximum dose: 4 tablets in any 24-hour period.
Do not give to children under 6 years unless directed by a physician.
How to Take:
Swallow tablets with water or a cold drink.
Can be taken on an empty or full stomach.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
