Squeeze a generous, thick layer of cream directly onto the exact skin area where the needle or procedure will happen. Do not rub the cream in. It should sit on top of your skin like a thick mound of frosting.
2.Cover the cream with a clear, airtight plastic wrap:The Seal.
Cover the thick mound of cream with a clear, waterproof medical dressing (like Tegaderm) or a piece of plastic kitchen wrap. Press the edges down firmly to seal it airtight. This stops the cream from drying out and forces the medicine deep down into the skin.
3.Leave the dressing completely undisturbed for 1 to 2 hours:The Wait.

4.Wipe off all remaining cream right before the needle:The Cleanse.
